Do you remember those typing tests they used to give us in highschool? You know, before computers came along with the wonderful "delete" button?
The problem for me was never speed. Boy, could my fingers fly across those keys. I would have done great on the typing tests except for one little problem. Inevitably, at some point along the way, I'd get my fingers on the wrong keys and then what I speedily produced was a whole lot of gibberish.
It's been that kind of a knitting week. Speeding along only to discover at the end of 265 stitches that I missed one way back say around stitch #25. Or three rows along only to realize I'd been reading the wrong rows of pattern, or getting off on my count. It's like having your fingers on the wrong keys -- 3 days of speedy knitting gibberish.
