Knitting Show and Tell

I managed to get in a brief visit with my BKF yesterday and it was so wonderful to see her. We've been friends since middle school (long before either of us learned to knit) and she was the one who wooed me back to knitting a couple of years ago (for which I am most grateful).

Anyway, we didn't have enough time to go yarn crawling or even to sit and knit for a spell, but after a long and chatty lunch we did take time for a little knitting show and tell.

She had 2 milkweed shawls and a vest to show me (all stunning even if she uses wool) and I had a few things to share with her as well.

My progress on my Nantucket Red Sweater

And my Aurora Shawl Cardigan -- except today it has the button on it and I'm actually able to wear it.

Looks even better with you modelling it than it did in yesterday's show and tell! Thanks for your kind comments on my projects, despite their wool content.
