What better gift for a knitter could there be than a Knitting calendar complete with 100 plus knitting patterns?
When I flipped to today's date, I found the Jamie Hat pattern by fellow-blogger/ San Francisco resident, Leslie Gordon . That was such a wonderful surprise -- wonder who else's patterns I might find as I go through this new year?
One of my dear friends was SO excited to give me this calendar a few days before Christmas and wouldn't you know that my dear husband had also bought me one for my stocking?
It's a great calendar, but one copy is enough so I am going to give my second copy away to one of you dear readers.

Ooh, I'd love to win this! I read your blog because: a) you write in a way that makes you feel like a friend, or at least not a stranger; b) I like to see what can be done without wool (especially since it sometimes make me itch); and c) because I like your designs.

I'm going to be reading your blog so I can see how you set up your craft room and steal all of your ideas!!!! (although my poor craft room keeps getting shoved down the list - apparently leaking roofs, heating issues, and insulation all trump the knitting room).
Also, I can't wait to see what the west coast inspires you to design!

The calendar looks so inspiring! I would enjoy having it--have never seen a knitting calendar in that style.
I enjoy the variety in your posts and have your blog in my RSS feed so I never miss a post!
A few of my grandchildren have allergies, so I do appreciate the wool free aspect of your blog. You've put me on to some good yarn choices.

I hope I win the calendar! I found your blog because my daughter is allergic to wool but loves hand knits as much as I enjoy knitting them for her. I love reading your blog and look for new posts daily - you are in my daily feed!
