I'm so excited to show you this latest design I've been working on. I actually knit this up for my sister for a Christmas gift (you may recall she LOVES anything with a sheep motif).
She had asked for a headband with a flower-thingy on it after she saw one at a store and I got thinking about how much cuter it would be for her if it had a sheep accessory. Then I saw a sheep inspired cupcake and my brain went into overtime. How could I create a ruffled body with a sheepshead? Out came the stitch dictionaries, the sketch book, the needles and yarn. Took awhile (okay way past Christmas) to get things worked out but she (and I) and surprisingly a large number of other people, loved it!
this is the off-white version -- I like it a lot too.
My middle neice wanted one (and she's not even big on sheep) so she offered to model for me in exchange for her own headband. She looks adorable in it. And my nephew did a great job taking the photos.
It's available on my Ravelry store -- it knits up quickly and makes a great gift for all your sheep loving friends. The soft organic cotton gives a fuzzy finish (although you could use wool if you prefer) and makes it a cozy head covering for these last days of winter and on into the cool mornings of spring.

That is ridiculously cute!
