The name has nothing to do with knitting -- if you want to know why the owner chose it, you can read the full story here. Nice, welcoming storefront and there's plaza parking right across the road if you don't find a street spot.
Eyecandy -- this is a long row (and it went on farther yet) of Habu stainless steel silk. It was so beautiful and all I could think of was the cone sitting at home that I have yet to knit. But they do have a nice selection of various silk yarns and blends by Habu.
A whole big bin of wool-free sock yarn -- sadly only one brand (Cascade), but still, you don't find this much selection in a lot of smaller yarn stores.
Alchemy Silken straw -- always makes me think of the first time I saw it in Phoenix -- one of these days I'm going to knit with it again! I think there are more color choices now -- so vibrant I wanted to scoop up the pile and take it home!
Then there was this rack of Twisted sister - a hand dyed silk and hemp blend. Don't you wonder how that's going to turn out? Well, I did, so I bought a skein of the Earth tone. The gal at the counter asked what I was going to make with it and I said, "I have no idea." All suggestions would be most welcome!!
