One of the challenges for many knitters is how to store/organize their yarn so they can easily see what they have while at the same time keeping the yarn dust free.
The solution can be as simple as a collection of glass or acrylic jars.
For serious stash, you want large jars or containers like those shown above. But smaller jars can be used to house your scrap yarn. If you have young children or animals in the house, choose acrylic containers over glass.
To highlight "pretty" yarn, glass cookie jars or apothecary jars are a great option.

You can add in a few cedar chips or a sweet smelling lavendar sachet as well to keep the bugs away.
Do you store any of your yarn in jars?
Oh I love this idea! I'm gonna have to see what I can scare up at home ...

No, but I'm thinking about it. Looks really great.

I like the idea of showcasing pretty yarn in glass jars. And I like the smaller odds 'n ends stowed away according to colour.
All my yarn is stowed in large plastic totes in a large closet--not good for seeing what's on hand; however, I've been very good to update my Rav stash page whenever I make a new purchase, so at least I can "see" what have.
